Pricing and other frequently asked questions
Why should I spend my hard earned money on your photographs?
Our photographs are unique pieces of art that are hand made from beginning to end. In addition to capturing the images (not AI generated!) we print, mount and custom frame each piece. Because each piece is hand made, no two pieces are exactly the same. Besides that, Pat is an award winning photographer whose images capture unique moments in life whether in nature or on the city street.
Are some of your photos more expensive than others?
All photos are priced the same, and pricing only vary by mounting and framing style and shipping costs.
Can you give me an idea of pricing?
In general prices range from $25 to $350. There are many variables that affect price. For example, our most affordable item is a rolled print. We print the photo you want on the paper you want (more on that below) and ship it to you in a rolled mailing tube. As an example, a 12'X16" color print on matte paper currently costs $25 plus shipping.
What about framing costs?
We have many framing options and it's best to contact us for pricing. The most affordable framed print is the plain solid wood frame, with square sides and painted. In 12"X16" the photo mounted and framed is $75 plus shipping. On the high end, a 24"X32" floating frame piece would cost $350. Our most popular pieces fall in the $100 to $200 range.
What kind of paper do you use?
Our paper is very high quality and we offer many options from matte, to semi-gloss to metallic and even canvas. We exclusively use acid-free papers made here in America.
What print and frame size options are there?
We custom print and frame everything and virtually any size is possible. Keep in mind that some of my photos are panorama or tall vertical. I will not crop such images to fit into a square format.
What if I want multiple framed images of exactly the same size?
We do that! Just reach out for more info.
If I come to your studio in western North Carolina can I pick up the picture I want and avoing shipping costs?
Absolutely! We'd love to see you here in our beautiful mountains. Just reach out and we'll find a time!
What kind of camera do you use?
Camera gear is over rated. I use several cameras in both film and digital formats. If you buy a photo and want details about location, camera type, etc I am happy to provide that.
Can I buy a digital file of a photo I like and print it myself?
Sorry, no. We only sell physical art.
Do you sell on other online marketplaces like Etsy?
Currently we only sell in local galleries, art shows and through this web site.
Do you do limited editions?
We have a few photos that we are limiting production to 10, but these are not the photos shown on the gallery page of this site. If you want to limit production and are willing to pay the premium, we are open doing that... just reach out.
Thank you!
